Responsibility – supporting the pahar trust

The Pahar Trust Nepal is a small UK charity established over 25 years ago by two Queens Gurkha Engineers to provide improved school buildings and education in the impoverished remote mountain villages of Nepal’s Himalayan foothills.

Portfield has partnered with the Trust and has funded the following projects :

Gilung School,
Lamjung Province

Pasgaun School,
Lamjung Province

Rebuilding the school following the 2015 Nepal earthquake damage and the addition of a science block. Works complete.
